Stays sharp. The smooth handle combined with the smaller size make it difficult for me to operate even with one hand. I have lost this knife more times than I can count due to the clip getting snagged. The clip does not help retention at all. It's pretty though. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Really fancy knife. Could be considered a Gentleman's Knife! *by T***Y on January 7, 2020* I really like this knife except for the price and the features it didn't have to go along with it. I know Benchmade's are known for being costly but this knife was just too expensive for it not to have patented AXIS assist or some sort of an flipper assisted deployment; in fact it was almost tricky to get the knife out of your pocket quickly and the thumb stud wasn't smooth & easy as it should be. I have handled other Benchmade that were a lot easier. On the positive side, I loved the M390 steel (super sharp & durable) and it did have a short deep carry clip (it screws didn't let it conceal deep in pocket however).
