Unfortunately, this book fell short in that I found the content unoriginal, unimaginative, and dry.You would fare better if you repeated the affirmation from Robert Simmons' The Book of Stones and altogether skipped this book. ### ⭐ Was Not What I Expected *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2021* I thought this book would get into where the stone comes from and the stories and beliefs behind it. If you look this stone up on the internet, you will find out about this beautiful and fascinating stone. It can only be found in one country in the world. I have read up on everything and bought a stone for my daughter-in-law for her birthday and paired it with this book, hoping she would find out all about this stone too. The quality isn't that great and it is only several pages of prayers and rituals to do in front of your altar. Would not recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powerful combination of crystal and sound *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2016* Baal Kadmon's approach to magick, is to strip away complexity and simplify ritual to its barest essentials to produce results.In his book 'Moldavite Magick', Baal has combined the magick of mantras (chanting) and the power of crystals. In particular, the Moldavite crystal. An intriguing idea, but does it work? Almost everyone knows what a mantra is, the most famous mantra is the 'OM', so this needs no explanation. Moldavite, is a rare crystal, found only in a single region on Earth, the mountains of Czechoslovakia. Moldavite is a meteorite-a tektite, formed from the violent impact and intense heat from a rock crashing into the Earth from space.Moldavite by reputation, has an unusual characteristic to it. Many people have reported experiencing a "Flush" in their bodies, not unlike a niacin flush. I was skeptical until I tried it. Sure enough, there was a strong reaction in my body as I held this stone! Strange. But, back to my question, does this magick work?At the time I received this short book, (41 pages) I had been experiencing an ongoing painful knee problem. Some years ago, I managed to damage both my Medial and Lateral Collateral Ligaments. A problem not easily solved. I chose to perform the ritual 'To promote healing' from the book. 'OM SHRI DHANVANTRE NAMAHA'. To Kadmon's credit, a pronunciation guide is included, making this Sanskrit phrase easier to say!I followed the ritual guidelines for 7 days. My knees felt better, it's not completely healed but I experienced less discomfort than before performing this ritual. I still feel a 'twig' from my knee while riding a bike, but less pain than before. There are "props" that you'll need to acquire before trying these (there are 5 rituals in the book) rituals; a Moldavite crystal, a bowl of water, imagination, Mala beads, Incense and some coloured candles. Red, Gold, Blue, Silver, Black and White candles.I rate this book at 4 Stars. Wish it had more context and history on mantras, but that is my only issue. I'm not totally healed but my knee feels improved and that is good enough!
