Very good. Been using it like that for years now. It does not get super hot like the cheap foreign made ones sold in some stores. This is much safer. I would strongly reccomend you buy a timer and don't leave it on all of shabbos. That's not safe at all. **Q: can I select the temperature?** A: No, it heats to a certain temperature and remains at that temperature for approximately 2 hrs. after unpluging **Q: Does this contain ptfe, pfoa, or any form of teflon?** A: Salton Hotray model TWT30 has a stainless steel surface. This product contains no PTFE, PFOA, or Teflon. **Q: Can you put ceramic, glass, stoneware, etc platters on this, or does it get too hot? Do you need to only use oven-safe things like pyrex and metal?** A: Always use oven-safe or heat-proof dishes, containers or crockery with Salton Hotray model TWT30. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cordless Warming Tray by Salton | Medium Electric Hot Plate | Cooking, Serving & Warming Tray | 23-3/4” x 7-3/4” Hot Plate - Food Warmer Plate - Microwavable 9-Inch Marble Hot Plate Keeps Food Warm Longer - Great for Parties, Family Gatherings, and Holidays by Chef Buddy --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/14914268-cordless-warming-tray-by-salton-large-electric-hot-plate-cooking](https://www.desertcart.us/products/14914268-cordless-warming-tray-by-salton-large-electric-hot-plate-cooking) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
