The smell is very light, I can hardly smell it, but it does smell like roses. I love that it has shea butter and hyaluronic acid, as well as other nourishing oils. It makes my face feel soft and refreshed. It is about the consistency of any other face cream I have used, so not too thick, not too watery. It is not sticky at all and absorbed right into my skin very quickly. I can't speak to it's effectiveness yet, because I just got it but so far I like it a lot.Update: it leaves my skin velvety smooth and moisturized. I use Retin-A and that really dries my skin out sometimes but this moisturizer really combats that flakiness and almost seems to heal my skin more quickly. This is the best stuff I have ever used. I hope they never discontinue it. I complained about the price before, it's totally worth the price if not more.
