When my husband and I started our lives together, we spent some of our homecoming money to buy a nice set of Cutco knives from a family member. Nearly two decades later, the wood block they came with deteriorated, and we were left looking for something to protect them from dog hair and dust on our new magnetic knife block. After spending over a week researching, I finally found some that were supposed to work, and they did. These fit perfectly! Unlike some of the others I found, they don't just fit. They have a nice felt lining inside, making it a bit snug but protecting the sharpness of the blade while also keeping it safe. I personally liked the simplistic design, allowing it to blend in with our knife block. I haven't really had to clean them yet, but they seem like they will be fairly easy, making them an ideal fit for our household.

**Q: What is the country of origin?  it says designed and tested in florida but no coo for the manufacturer.**
A: Products that state they are designed in the U.S., and fail to mention where they are manufactured, are likely manufactured in China (or other countries outside the U.S.).

**Q: What is the dimension for the butcher knife sheath?**
A: I'm not sure which one is designed for a butcher knife. Our butcher knife is curved so none of these work exactly. The closest one if 2 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches long.

**Q: How big and wide is the largest one?**
A: The largest is 26x5cm

**Q: Could these protect knives stored in an outdoor kitchen?**
A: Yes, but these covers are not waterproof (you have to have it in a covered storage).  So if you are leaving your cutlery open to the weather, these covers are not going to protect it from the elements.
