I think I've got it right, but it isn't like other blenders I've owned. Those I simply twist the glass jar into the base and connect it to the blender motor. This one has more flimsy parts that I don't really enjoy having to take apart and re-assemble every time …** A: Up against the glass base, the gray rubbery gasket will be placed. This keeps the liquid from oozing out the bottom. Then place the steel blades inside the glass jar, from the bottom, with the gray gasket in between the glass jar and the round base of the steel blades. Last comes the black plastic bottom, which screws on---it should screw on easily if placed right. Make sure it is tight.Then place the whole assembled jar onto the motor base and rotate the jar slightly, until it settles into the motor base. If done correctly, the blender will run smoothly when you push a button.Don't forget the lid! **Q: Can this be used as a whisk? Not the best for frozen drinks (i tried to make a tea slush today and the tea was wayy separate from the ice but the ice was blended p smoothly.All in all its a pretty good blender- its amazing for the price and id definitely reccommend it.Oh and it was filthy when i got it.
