The power plug and various wires and the tiniest 4TB external SSD that I recently bought fit nicely in the accessory compartment with some room to spare. If I didn't buy a trackball to go with this rig, a slimmer travel mouse would have fit in that compartment quite nicely. I doubt I'll use the shoulder strap unless I'm weighted down with other things and riding public transit but, since I have a car, I doubt I'll use the strap but it seems very serviceable. I ordered him this one from Amazon because it has good reviews and looked well made. At age 15 he is unorganized and forgetful...let's not mention like most teens he doesn't listen so I was sick of the excuse that he didnt have his charger. WELL.WELL WELL...he should now since it has a pocket to put it in. It has cool corner clip holders to help keep the computer in the case and a hard case at which we will find his year if its protective enough.
