But it may well be convenient to have a separate oven. The clay was designed to be baked in a home oven and that's how I do mine. I definitely am looking into getting a toaster oven for my clay, though, because it would be easier to have a portable oven in my craft space to bake whenever I want and not have to run back and forth to the kitchen. I would also be able to take it with me to craft in other places without having to use anyone's home stove. But if all you have is a home stove - tha's fine.
