If you left a bad review for handle related problems, that is understandable, but the wood handle is a natural product, and they sometimes have flaws. If you left a bad review because the blade isnt as sharp as a normal kitchen knife, because it is heavy, because it is unbalanced, or because the blade steel isnt super hard, you dont know how to use a cleaver, or what it is used for. A cleaver is a hacking/chopping tool, not a slicing tool like a normal kitchen knife. Dont think of a cleaver like a knife, it is not a knife, think of it as a specialized kitchen axe. An axe/cleaver is meant to be swung and impact, this means it needs to have weight and forward balance, it needs to have a steep durable edge angle (not a shallow slicing angle), and it needs to be made of relative soft steel compared to a pure slicing tool, so that when pushed to the edge it will bend and deform, rather than shatter and send sharp pieces flying everywhere. This cleaver is a perfect tool for what it was designed to do.
