I have had bikini waxes for 15 years by professionals. I am not someone who knows much about beauty products, so I read a number of reviews about it before buying. The reviews were really mixed so I focussed on the positive ones to be fair!The instructions with the product are straightforward and easy to follow. I haven't got a microwave that is configured in seconds on a timer, it works with a dial, so I definitely had it in the microwave for too long, but since it is meant to look like runny honey, and not be too hot on the wrist, I waited until it had cooled down enough to use.I set everything out I would need before starting to us the product, as I thought I might only have a small window of opportunity temperature wise to use it. I am glad I did, because it just made everything easier.I applied a thin coat - thin!!- and followed the instructions. Everything worked beautifully.The waxing process did not hurt. I don't recommend trying to use each paper more than once. I think I would have got too gummed up had I tried that.I had a couple of drips - I've never done this before- but another reviewer had advised to put a towel down, and the drips landed on that. Hard wax worked but was really difficult to use - heating up and keeping it heated was hard if you didnt have special equipment. plus, the wax would stick to your skin making it more painful. So I came across this product - its soft wax and natural - bonus. It only takes 40 seconds to heat in the microwave where as hard wax takes 6 minutes to heat, its easy to spread and the wax strips are easy to apply. What I love about this product is there is hardly any pain when removing the hair even when doing a hollywood style wax.
