Alchohol and glycerin based vanilla extract is much more concentrated than this ground vanilla bean powder, so it's an unfair comparison. But if you are looking for something to add a slight vanilla flavor and a nice touch of visual bean specks to your smoothies, golden milk, sugar cookies, and other foods which are light colored, you will really like this.
