But Target's slip short did not compare in quality. This has been the best of both worlds! I didn't see a length listed when I purchased (and while I haven't measured), they seem to be about 9" which is what I was looking for. I like mine on the longer side for maximum comfort, anti-chafe, and no riding up the thigh when I walk. I wear a size 10/12 in bottoms and purchased the size 12-14. They are not at all too big. They fit just right, and do not roll! I analyze and second guess my purchases a lot, so I hope this helps someone else feel confident in their purchase, and that it works out as perfectly for others as it has for me.

These are so comfortable. Very comparable to Thigh Society's "Original" slip short but much more affordable! Amazing value. They are not see through and are soft. The price is right for these, and the best thing about them is that the legs do not ride up which is an issue for me with other chafe shorts. I deducted one star from my review because after one wear, the shorts were heavily pilled in high friction areas. This isn't the end of the world aesthetically because they are worn under clothes and won't be seen, but it does make me question what the longevity of the shorts will be. Lastly, these aren't perfectly opaque,especially the lighter colors, but they will keep you modest if the wind catches your skirt.
