I am 5’3 and had on flats in a field so I tied it up. I am 5 feet 6 and 1/2 and I weigh 185 and I was concerned that it was going to be too short. I also was worried that it was going to make me look like I had no waist (which I dont, lol). I have a more box shape. But I found that the nice thing is when I put my hands in the pockets it accentuates a waist so I'm very pleased. The slit is really nice. I would like the dress just maybe an inch or two longer but I purchased it for a cruise so I'm really pleased. I can tell you honestly, I probably would never wear it on my shoulders. It'll always be worn off my shoulders because I just don't like the look of it when it's on my shoulders. I may consider purchasing another one. It's very comfortable the fabric feels really good and it's definitely not see through at all.
