The holding force is phenomenal! I had to us a breaker bar and a hammer to get the wood apart from the tape, and that was with just a strip with 1 1/4" surface area contact. It comes off the wood clean and didn't leave any residue. I could reuse the tape bits to cut three workpieces safely.
