But it can prevent food debris from soiling the table. They have a good heat insulation that protects the table well. Dark Gray is very beautiful. **Q: can these be cut down to a smaller size without the edges fraying?** A: Not sure about this, What I will say Is ours look like they have sealed edges so personally it’s not something I would attempt **Q: Does liquid go through them onto the table** A: Yes it does if you drop enough, they are almost woven nylon material which naturally have small holes.
