Two on the outer lip and two more back in on the inner cross brace. Then it should fit. **Q: What is the ball hole size** A: The Ball Mount Hole is 1 inch. **Q: I'd like to know the outside measurement between the upright brackets that bolt on please?** A: Don't exactly understand the question, since there are measurements displayed in the pictures on the listing. But the measurement on the front mounting bracket from side to side is 7-1/2" across.. From the outside of the front bracket to the outside of the back bracket, I measured 10-7/8". That is not exact.
