Review: It performs, you won't find anything better for the price, I think. - This little guy packs a punch for it's size and cost. It has nice sound quality too, I got it without a real purpose in mind. I was installing a system in my car and wanted some options if one component was lacking power, didn't need it. Ended up using it to rig a Bluetooth amp for my guitar. I used it as s preamp from the guitar to the bt transmitter, this is a very weak signal, and a lot of amps wouldn't have recognized the signal, it sounded great, like tube amp great (I'm no expert, but the first remark anyone makes when they hear it it "oh my god, it sounds really good"). I also put it on a set of 12" 3000W Kicker L7s, now I'm not saying it did the job, but it pushed 'em, loud enough to have been a home theater subwoofer in a medium sized room, I was just playing so I didn't even have a low pass filter set up, so it was amplifying the full spectrum and getting 90% of that filtered by the subwoofer protective filter and still it wss impressive considering 1800W minimum is the manufacturers suggestion for them. Only con for me, no power button, but I just wired a toggle switch on the dc voltage line and am happy with my $12 amp.

**Q: Are there one or two TPA3116 chips under the heatsink?**
A: There are zero TPA3116 chips under the heatsink. It's some unlabeled 16-pin IC
It gets loud though, that's for sure....

**Q: Ti spec said tpa3116d2 is 2x50w or 1x100w. with two tpa chip it can be 2x100w. how does this board get 2x120w?**
A: I believe this is an erroneous calculation based on the fact that it can drive 2 x 30W at 8 ohms, following ohms law once could calculate 2 x 60W at 4 ohms, however, to obtain 2 x 30W at 8 ohms, a duel layer pcb is required which this may have, I wouldn't know and don't have it on me, but still the claim is not supported by datasheet. Or maybe they calculated it by the figures 100W @ 2 ohm 24V and voltage max being 26V, but that doesn't calculate and is also not backed up by data sheet. Nice amp though.

**Q: What is the name/type of the 3-pin connector used for the inputs? I need to find one with leads, not a connector.**
A: Recommend a Kinter MA170 12V 2 Channel Mini Digital Audio Power Amplifier from Amazon. Much more civilized.

**Q: I want to replace the 2 potentiometers into one. What resistor 
 rating should it be?**
A: Honestly, there is a different board with the Volume and a lid/bottom combo for near the same moeny. Should you really want to employ a different pot setup for an existing board, it would be like a 0-10k ohm.  Looking at any ole RCA connected volume controller/Bass knob for a car amp would be a premade solution.   search for the BLC-3  8$ knob , maybe you can get an idea with it.

This little guy packs a punch for it's size and cost. It has nice sound quality too, I got it without a real purpose in mind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good bang for your buck.

I like this amp, I'm running two of them right now for my home system. One for mids and highs, and one for the sub woofers. I use a bass controller card on the base one for sort of a crossover. I have 12's and I'm running 19v with like 8-9 amp old laptop power supply, so plenty of power, but i think they're too big. Would get like 8"or 10" maybe. Maybe even just a pair of 6"s in a custom box. I've seen those 12s work a lot harder than this 220w wannabe pushes them. But on the mids and highs i got some 6.5" 3 ways, they sound pretty good. There is a tiny hiss of you turn them all the way up, i just notched em down a bit from full. They don't make a lotta heart and they got a good heat sink that is glued on, i guess (no screw). I wanted to redo the thermal paste but, on well. I like mouth of them though. One I've been running a couple months now, the other I just got last week...
