But really just about 5 minutes is enough, especially if you got a busy morning. I suggest adding in things to it to make it even more enjoyable, such as brown sugar, fruit, or nuts. As for the health aspect of this, every doctor I've ever met always says you should start your morning off with a bowl of oatmeal, as my mother was a nurse and I regularly was in the hospital visiting her, it was surprising how often they had all the doctors eating oatmeal for breakfast in the cafeteria. I must say I definitely agree, because a bowl of oatmeal like this really helps you don't get hungry right away during the day and provides good energy. The doctor said it's good for your heart or something like that, and you can find more about that online. So this is something good to have every day, and personally I like to have it with other things for breakfast as I'm a bigger person. It helps mellow out everything else in my system. But to be fair, it is actually good to have at other times of the day too, so don't rule out having oatmeal for dinner once in a while. It's easy on your stomach. This is a good quality product, but as for my value recommendation it is very hard for this item. I've gotten this for quite a few years, and I must say that the price of this fluctuates widely for what it is. At times it is below $4 to $5, and other times it's well over $12 if not up to the $15 Mark. So your value for it really jumps around. This is the best oatmeal that I have ever tried in my life. It is super creamy and never lumpy. I had read that it was very good so I purchased two large containers based on faith and I am so glad that I did! I now eat oatmeal every morning. I typically make it in boiling water but tomorrow I will try making it in 2% milk to see if there is any difference in taste. I usually add cinnamon and a couple of sugar substitute packs and I'm good.
