The weave is very close, and I do not need to double or triple the cloth to keep the cheese contained. This product is so much better than your standard "grocery store" cheese cloth. I do not make a lot of cheese, but this worked great to make "Farmer's cheese" or Tvorog, and Pashka cheese. I would highly recommend. Great quality, and reusable!

Repeat buyer, this is a good quality cheesecloth, it’s fine enough to get most jobs done and unbleached for your safety and health. I wrapped a prime rib for Christmas and dried it out before cooking. I also use it to strain various vegetables when I make colored pasta. Like baking twine it’s handy in and out of the kitchen for all kinds of tasks.

I have bought this several times, and at least 2 years in a row in order to have "serious" cheese cloth for a traditional cheese dessert I make for Pascha (or Easter) each year. The weave is very close, and I do not need to double or triple the cloth to keep the cheese contained. This product is so much better than your standard "grocery store" cheese cloth. I do not make a lot of cheese, but this worked great to make "Farmer's cheese" or Tvorog, and Pashka cheese. I would highly recommend. Great quality, and reusable!
