Review: Nice little machine - The first thing I sliced when I got the machine was some white potatoes, carrots, and sweet potato. I find the feed tube to be a little small so you still have to cut everything so it will not only fit in the feed tube, but not clog it by getting wedged in there. Once I got the size of the vegetables right it really made fast work of slicing everything up. I found I needed a two handed approach. One hand held the pusher firmly down, while the other held the ON button. The button has to be held constantly or it turns off -- but that does not seem to be a real problem and makes it much easier to control, too. Sometimes I had to push hard to get the food in contact with the blade (I may not have gotten the size of the veg right), and thought the blade dragged a little if I pushed really hard, but it got through everything fine. Even though everything was small in diameter all the slices piled up nicely in my steamer pan, and I was able to season and steam them into a wonderful dish. (I made it again in a couple of days.) The look reminded me of potatoes au graten that my mother used to make. I don't grate cheese anymore since becoming a vegan, but I know this little gadget will make very fast work of grating cheese. (I had a similar machine in the past.) This one seems heavy and sturdy, so does not need suction cup feet. It stays where put when using. I like it and I would recommend it.

**Q: Does this grate cabbage for Cole slaw?**
A: I don't see why not.  Seems to have a powerful lil motor in there.  I use it mainly to grate cheese and it comes out perfect!!

**Q: Does this spiralize or “zoodle”?**
A: I don’t think that would work

**Q: Can it make bread crumbs and grate Parmesan cheese?**
A: Yes you can grate parmesan cheese but the bread crumbs are better made in your food processor.

**Q: Will it shred kale?**
A: Whatever you like.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cheese shredder and bread crumb maker.

It does great for what I usually use it for: Shredding cheese (which I do a lot). Making bread crumbs. (Can’t find gf bread crumbs that i like). It’s a lot like using my large food processor but less bulky, easier to clean and I think it works better for some things although the motor isn’t as powerful as the food processor. I wouldn’t recommend for finely grating Parmesan or chopping nuts. It strains the motor but i prefer shredded Parmesan anyhow and it works fine for that. It also doesn’t work real well for some veggies like celery. I’ve had mixed experiences with things like carrots and cabbage.
