DefinitelyNeeds a few minutes to warm up, but once it is the p-Tex flows easily. The flat tip is perfect for smoothing out the p-Tex and getting it to mix with the existing p-Tex. Unfortunately though it does not work well at all. Even after waiting the prescribed 20 minutes to let it warm up (which seems like a ridiculously long time) it was troublesome to apply the honey like mess that came out the other end. I finally found the best technique was to hover over the gash on the board, drip some in and then spread and press it using the tip.I used this gun on a variety of repairs on a board that needed a bit of work. Everything from small and in the center to fairly significant and close to the edges.
