My photo is of my leg after wearing the compression socks for 4 hours. I wear a size 9 US shoe, am 5'6" and 140lbs and the medium fits well with a constant support. I have average sized calves but my feet are on the wider side. I say all that because I feel like the mediums would be too small if my leg was bigger and maybe too big if I was smaller, so they fit really snug and just right for me. It's not too much constriction but it does leave a mark. I can feel that I'm wearing them but it's not so tight and not uncomfortable. I feel like they are helping my veins. I wish I found them earlier in life. I've had them a few months and they stand up to the washer/dryer with no evidence of weakening.
