It maybe water resistant but it is not water proof. If it is IP65 it may be said to be dust proof but not water proof. In my opinion the SmartTool Gen 3 is a much better product as it is IP 65 certified and is more accurate in my testing. **Q: Do you need to purchase the digital device separately?
