If you try and run a piece of meat that's 1/2 inch thickness or larger it will either not grab and go through the rollers at all or it will pull it in partway, get stuck and mutilate the piece of meat. Also due to the design of the rollers, its not that quick and easy to clean them when your done. Overall for the used warehouse price i paid of 16.50$ i'm happy. Unless you are going to put a piece of meat that is 1/16in thick through it, then you should buy something else. This doesn't have anything to actually cut into the meat it's just a two rollers with bumps on them. A mallet works way better than this unit.
