Nice and stable, no 'holes' on the set where you sit in water (good design). Since it is a fishing kayak, they say you can stand in it....haven't tried cause it's winter, but I have kayaked with it 3 times now and I do love it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ad showed 4 flush rod mounts aft. It came ... *by M***N on May 8, 2015* The X-13 pictured on the Amazon site showed 4 flush rod holders aft but it came with only 2. Questions regarding delivery and transducer mount were either unanswered or answered incompletely but the kayak itself performs well and is a great fishing platform. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very stable *by B***Z on June 7, 2011* I found this kayak to be very stable even in choppy waters. So far I have only taken it out in the sound but did hit some pretty heavy swells from larger boats. Mine did differ from the description in that it did not have the forward rod holders, but did have four rear holders. Made for a great camping trip, as I was able to carry a 6 person tent, folding chair, large cooler, two rods with takle box, and sleeping gear. I was skeptical as to how much weight I could pile onto it as I am myself 220lbs. It handled the extra weight with ease. I really could not tell a difference in the handeling of the boat. The only real issue I had was some water getting in through the scupper holes due to sitting lower in the water. The gator hatch is awesome. My only complaint would be the lack of eyelets on the back. The bungee holders included are difficult to work with if your gear is taller than the recession of the boat. My bungees kept springing off my cooler. This is easily rectified with an eyelet kit. Overall a great kayak for the money.
