轟雷オリジナルのキャノンでは迫力が足りないし、ウェポンキットのは形状が気に入らないのでこのキャノンを改造使用しました。　砲身延長改造しましたが、砲身の太さが7mmほどあって似たようなプラ素材を探すのが面倒なので今回は8mm径の木の丸棒を使用。　延長長さを決める前に、丸棒をドリルに咥えさせてヤスリにてお手軽リング状筋彫りを適当に入れたり、3mm＆4mm径の孔をピンバイスで孔けてランナー切って差し込んだりして塗装後に装着。　木の丸棒なら、ガッチリ接着するのなら100mmでも200mmでも砲身延長出来るでしょうね(あまり長いとプラの方が木の重量に負けて歪みそうですが)。　轟雷の方もちょこっと改造して、ラピッドレイダーにでも乗せようかな...。
