I purchased two lunchboxes for my twins to use at preschool. On first day I noticed I really struggled to close the lunch boxes. Right on the same day I got a note from teacher stating it was real struggle to open lunch box. I wish I checked quality as soon as I received it- my fault. By the time school started return window had closed. I even wrote to company’s customer service and I didn’t hear back. Which shows how much they truly cares for their customer. I’m never going to purchase this brand again. I would rather pay $5 more for a better quality. My main concern was something she could open independently that wouldn’t leak. So far, these have held up really well. She has had no problem getting it open on her own. They help keep things separated and the size is great for young kids’ lunches. I don’t think the compartments would be quite big enough for an adult unless you are trying to keep portions very small. I think it might help if the white section was attached permanently to the shell, but even then, I'm not sure. It is very leak-proof though and the quality of the materials it is made from is very sturdy. It endured my son banging it on the lunch table at school while he tried to get it open.
