We brought ours for our Franke Tap with an 08 filter which has a plastic housing. **Q: I have fitted this to a Franke Omni. As the filter is a lot heavier should there be an insert to hold it in place securely?** A: If you fit this it will null and void any guarantees with Franke. We fitted one with no issues, it fitted nicely with no need for an insert, but shortly after the washer went in the tap and Franke wouldn’t help.
