Review: Shower Radio - Pros: Great product. So easy to set up. Out of the box, plugged charger in for 6 hours, switched on, fired straight up, auto tuned in about 111 channels. Turned the knob to scroll though the programmes, found the first one I wanted as the usual channel, pressed and held the Preset button and on screen showing preset 1, pushed down the scrolling knob. Turned scrolling knob to find the second preset I wanted, when programme shown, pressed down scrolling knob to move to that programme. Again pressed and held down the preset button. When it showed the preset option I scrolled the knob to the right to select Preset 2 and pressed down the srolling knob to preset the station. Simples! Very easy to set up. Volume auto at half volume. Just turned it up. Plenty loud enough for the bathroom/shower. Surprisingly good tone too for a small (2") speaker. Much better than the cheaper shower radios I've owned that this replaces. Cons: We have a shower head that comes out of the wall rather than a surface run type of shower unit therefore there's not really anything in the shower area, at eye level, for the radio to hang from. I used a length of cord from a previous radio to loop around the strap and then place over the shower head/pipe from wall. It would be really helpful if Majority could provide a loop/fixing on the back of the radio and a length of cord to be able to hang the radio from a shower head/pipe.

**Q: Can I plug in my 3.5mm headphones?**
A: Yes, there is a 3.5mm headphone socket just above the charging socket. Not sure I would use headphones in the shower though!

**Q: Can you get talk radio on this radio**
A: I listen to 5 Live Radio and also LBC radio so yes you can get talk radio. Hope this helps? It’s a brilliant little radio and works well in my bathroom and elsewhere around my home.

**Q: I am currently looking at the eversden & eddington & i want know which one performs best? also which is loader.**
A: I have an Eversden and it does what I want very well - I bought it to take to the garden and allotment as it is waterproof, and if it gets dirty I can just wash it.  The sound quality is good for a small radio like this, and the battery gives about 20 hours between charges.  I also connect to phone to use as a bluetooth speaker.

The sound quality is clear, and I listen to both music and radio current affairs and news programmes.

Which ever one you get make sure you register on line to extend the guarantee to three years.

I love mine and would recommend (I have given four friends an Eversden for birthday presents!)

I've had it sat in the bathroom for 3 months which has less than stellar signal reception. Despite the aerial being a thin wire hidden in the handle, it has very good reception with DAB and pretty good with FM too. Quality of sound is reasonable for a small speaker. The controls are mostly intuitive. I haven't tried Bluetooth. Some minor niggles. It resets the volume every time I switch it off. I find the default volume quiet, so I always have to increase it when I switch on. (I did say minor, right?) The (waterproof) buttons and labelling are small, a bit of a challenge to my aging eyesight in contrast to the large and very clear front screen. I'm not sure why on/off wasn't built into the volume control to match the select on the other large switch. The battery check is by navigating the info menu, which is a bit faffy, but it seems to hold enough charge so it's never been an actual issue. I just plug it in overnight on the weekend. Overall I'm happy with my choice and am glad I bought it.
