## Overview

The PNSO Paulwun the Dakosaurus is a scientifically accurate 5.1-inch marine reptile model featuring a movable jaw with serrated teeth, paddle limbs, and a tail fin. Crafted from eco-friendly PVC and hand-painted for museum-quality realism, it comes with a 64-page illustrated manual, an A3 poster, and 9 educational videos, making it an ideal collectible and learning tool for teens and adults passionate about prehistoric life.

## Description

Meet Paulwun the Dakosaurus, PNSO's scientific art reconstruction of a fully marine crocodylomorph and powerful Mesozoic ocean predator. Based on an animal about 5 meters long, the compact model measures 5.12 x 3.86 x 2.48 inches (13 x 9.8 x 6.3 cm). Its short, heavy skull, robust serrated teeth, thick body, four paddle-like limbs, and finned tail distinguish Dakosaurus from both land crocodilians and ordinary marine reptile figures. The movable lower jaw opens to reveal the tooth rows and detailed mouth interior, giving the curved swimming pose a stronger predatory presence. Hand-painted on solid eco-friendly PVC, Paulwun is paired with a 64-page illustrated product manual, an A3 science-art poster, and 9 QR videos: 1 prehistoric-animal introduction and 8 drawing lessons. Designed for teens 15+ and adult collectors.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it work well as a back scratcher?**
A: Well, probably not very well I would assume. Though, the dinosaurs/models with protruding scales on their backs or tails might be more helpful for this ridiculous task.

Then, again, even knowing you're not serious, in a hypothetical sense I believe it would be fatuous to spend for some models, $60+, for a back scratcher, hehe.

But, by all means, go for it! Though, hammering a bunch of rusty nails through something like a suitably cut 2x4 might give you what you want as well. And you would possibly get tetanus to boot 👍🏻😁.

**Q: Can it go in the water?**
A: While you can submerge this product, the paint and detailing will eventually come off. It is painted plastic.

**Q: Can this come off the stand?**
A: The stand is very poorly matched in terms of appearance and stability. The shark simply sits atop the stand, is not attached, and can be displayed separately. However, the shark tilts onto its left pectoral fin when placed on a flat surface (because tail weight is offset to the left) and it looks very awkward in this position. I used a clear acrylic disk (half inch high) beneath the head to support the shark off of its round belly and to prevent tilting. There are many creative ways of supporting the shark but the stand that it comes with is junk. Would add that the shark itself is an awesome Meg replica and not just another Great White look-alike.

**Q: What is the scale of Basilosaurus @ 20" ?**
A: Id say it falls in between 1:35-1:40 scale. Basilosaurus size estimates ranged between 60-65ft on average.
