A: I am not aware of a "standard 700c road rim".  You need to know the hole size for your specific rim.  For Velocity Fusion rims the 8 mm red plugs fit.

**Q: Is the price listed for these 'Velocity Rim Plug for 8mm Holes (Bag of 72)' correct?**
A: Yes, this is correct price.  It is worth it.

**Q: Does anybody know if the plugs work with Bontrager Duster 29 rims? These rims have asymmetrical holes (i.e, the holes don't run in the center of the rim.)**
A: I have them in Bontrager road rims where the spoke holes are staggered left and right of the rim centerline... They should work fine, unless the spoke holes are so close to the rim wall that there's no room for the lip of the plugs...

**Q: Do you still need to use rim strips with these, or do you just use these alone?**
A: These are instead of rim strips.
