It was really put to the test this morning though! I had to tie it to a tree because she is way too strong for me, and she hit the end of the range several times so hard the leash tore off bark before she figured out how far she could go. Everything held up and nothing looks worse for the wear. I am comfortable continuing to use it. Even before I got my puppy out of the car, there was a knot in the leash and I had just put it on her. It’s completely dangerous if you’re taking your dog to a dog park. I ended up having my new puppy I got from the shelter, 3 days earlier, with her brand new name, for maybe 20 minutes and than I threw in the towel and took a chance with her off leash!
