On of the best RPG games from Atar.

If you like Gauntlet Legends, you should definitely give this game a try. It's one of the best RPG games that Atari has published. I love this game so much. Recommended to anyone.

That's why its only 15 bucks.

*by L***K on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2011*

Ok, for the money I suppose the game is fine. While I have not gotten very far into the game yet, I am not sure that I ever will so I am going to go ahead and review it now while it is fresh in my mind. When the game dropped at only 15 bucks I was curious, thinking maybe its just becaue their is not much content, and while I cant speak on that side of it yet as I have only played it for a couple hours, I am disapointed with the interface, and the limited character options.1. To start you can choose to play a Male Human Warrior, Male Halfling Wizard, Male Dwarf Cleric, or Female Elf Rogue. Thats it. You cannot customize your appearance whatsoever, you cant choose your sex other than what I have said, you cant be an elf wizard, or a human cleric, you have no customization over any of that. You can choose your own feats, and powers from the limited selection offered. However as I stated since I didnt get far in the game I dont know if more choices in feats and powers become available later, I would assume they do.2. If you have ever played DDO, their is a button that you can accidenly push or activate it if you want, whatever, I did it on accident occasionally, and some people I know also did this, that causes the camera movement to lock to the mouse movement and the curser disapears. Now personally I disliked that option, I like to use my mouse to activate abilities that are not set to activate on numbers 1-7, as moving my fingers across the top of the keyboard in the dark after 7 I have to be careful of not hitting the correct button. I also like to use my mouse to pick things up, but with this game you cant do that, as far as I was able to figure, their is no way to unlock the mouse to camera linkup. Also when I tried to set the graphics to higher than low it was all locked out. Also you can't remap key commands, you can look at how its set up and that's what you use.I suppose that if you like to play with a controller instead of keyboard / mouse like me, you will have no problems with the interface, in that way I suppose I would compare it to FFXIV, much more console or at least controller friendly. If you dont care much about being able to customize your character, and you like playing pre rolled toons then I suppose that you would not have a problem with the characters you can play. Personally I like to have control over customizing my characters. While Dragon Age 2 did stick us with few options we could still choose to be a male or female (beating a dead horse here, but female so long as you dont mind having breasts that would make the rocky mountains jealous)(yea I am one of them A-cup lovers) of any class, and within the environment you have complete control over your own characters appearance, and how your attributes and powers will look in the long run.

    This is an online game

*by S***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2011*

Yes, I know the game says you can play solo, but you still need the internet. I am a huge DnD fan, and when I heard a video game called Dagger Dale was comming out, I was interested. The game looks like it has the new 4th edition style of DnD, so yeah I was exited. But my hope for a 4th edition game for the computer came crashing down when I opened the case. This game requires an internet program called Steam. Why? I don't know. When I buy a game, I expect to play the game after I install it. But no, I can't install it because an internet program is required. If I want a game, I'll buy the game, if I wanted Steam, I'll get Steam. But I don't want Steam garbage on my computer. But there is another problem that made me mad, and its this:When I opened the box and read the instuctions, it said something the lines of this. "Steam is required in order to play the game. If you do not want or agree with Steam, you can return the game UNOPENED." Ok, how can I return the game if I already opened the case and the book inside said UNOPENED? You can't! I am very disappointed in this purchase. If I could rate this game zero stars, I would. I can't even play the game. Don't buy this game, it took more than 3 hours for me to TRY to install it, but of course, all tries failed. The name for this review stands true. This is an online game, solo play is just a way for them to get you interested.
