A convenient hard-wired personal in-ear control center, the P2's belt pack puts monitor control right at your fingertips, plus it's powerful, lightweight and ultra-easy to use. 3.5 mm Phones Jack You can use your favorite headphones, earbuds or custom-molded professional InEar Monitors (IEMs) with the P2, thanks to the top-mounted, standard 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo output jack. Locking XLR / TRS Input Because your monitor is crucial to your performance, P2's XLR / TRS combo input connector features a locking mechanism to prevent accidental mic cable disconnects. Just press the tab next to the bottom-mounted connector to release the cable at the end of the gig. It is important to note that P2's XLR input accepts balanced line signals taken directly from your mixer, allowing you to control the volume of the onboard amplifier. Dual Mode Operation P2's internal Mono/Stereo switch lets you choose the mode that best fits your needs. When using your mixer’s aux send or any other mono source, move the switch to the Mono position. For connecting to a headphone output or other stereo source, simply set the switch to Stereo and use an XLR-to-TRS or TRS-to-TRS (male to male) cable. **Q: Does this come with the power supply?**
A: It doesn't use a power supply - it runs on two AAA batteries. In mine, I use Tenergy NiMh rechargeables; I get about 25-30 hours of operation on a charge.

**Q: What cable do i need for the input?  Xlr male to 3.5 if i want to input a laptop audio?**
A: Most all computers these days have stereo headphone outputs. You wouldn't want to use the P2 on a computer input just to clarify. Make sure to select stereo on the P2 (there's a switch in the battery compartment for Mono or Stereo). Just make sure to purchase a TRS (stereo) mini (3.5)) to XLR. Hope this helps.

A: stereo system and mono. depend of your cable 3.8mm

**Q: When you have your in ear headphones plugged in do you hear out of both sides or just one with this amp?**
A: Mine is working very nicely, same volume in both ears. There is a mono/stereo switch on the inside that is selected on mono on mine. We use is on the X32 output with xlr plugs.

Product is good, value for money, good sound quality and comfortable but minor issues with product in weak plastic joints inside the monitor. Outer cover is metal strong but also the clip will be loose or stretched after few times of use. Minor changes or quality up-gradation will be good.
