Take off soap hose. Use wrench to remove old injector. Clean out any gunk or dried soap in receptacle. Make sure rubber o ring is on injector as pictured. Put ball bearing inside injector and then the spring with small end of spring against the ball bearing. Insert injector into receptacle and tighten injector with 13mm wrench. Don't overtighten, you'll break the o ring or crack white metal on pump. It looked like it was supposed to hold the spring in the center of the fitting the device get screwed into. So i carefully put the O-ring in place and screwed in the fitting.
