Rear or front projection, virtually all screens, will require folding to fit into their storage bags. The lines do diminish with tension, use, and distance from screen (in-home use puts you closer to the screen than its larger format intends, hence the lines may stand out more). Worry more about keeping the screen clean and blemish free, those will be far more disruptive to your picture than crease lines! Also, the higher lumen (brighter) the projector, the less you notice lines and the more the image "pops" on the screen. **Q: for rear projection, how far back do you need the projector from the back of the screen?** A: That depends entirely on the projector **Q: Can anyone recommend a good projector that is inexpensive but offers 1080p and support for Apple TV?** A: i'm using the GooDee Video Projector. It's fine. Especially for the money, around $60.
