This NIC has no factory Linux support. You can get it to work however but it will take time and you will need to use driver built off one of there ac88u WiFi router which has the same chipset. I know this is old but just in case someone down the line wonders if its native out of the box support as of Oct. 2017 the drivers for this have been abandoned so your only choice is solutions made by community members. The solution worked flawless for me but others report problems. **Q: Will this work with a USB 2.0 port?** A: Yes this devise will work on a USB 2.0 port.
