## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I get the sticky stuff off my walls? Will scrubbing it with water work?**
A: I use olive oil on a paper towel then wash with soap & water afterwards. It's great for removing glue from skin or other objects.

**Q: Do these expire?  Opened 2 from a year old box & they aren't attracting flies.  What's the shelf life of unopened ribbons?**
A: Clarification; these are ONLY "RAID FRUIT FLIES" at Amazon and just for this.  These ribbons are VERY sticky and can hold for years.  It has other types insects for repellents.  Make sure that it's "four stars plus".  I purchased other types and they work fine!  FYI: "RAID" has other items you needs for many insects types and they ALWAYS works!  You will be pleased within 2-3 days especially close to near windows.   TRUST ME!

**Q: Does it also catch mosquitoes and other flying insects?**
A: Works great for flies and gnats. Other insects are less likely to land on it but occasionally it will catch something else.

**Q: Do these attract?**
A: I bought these fly ribbons to help get rid of moths that entered my home via bags of corn based cat litter.  I let someone talk me into buying the much more expensive Dr. Killigan's moth traps that are permeated with pheromones to attract the males. They caught absolutely nothing! I found these ribbons at my local Walmart and tried them out. In just a few days they started filling up with moths. These do not have any type of attractant in the sticky substance but moths like to hang out on vertical surfaces like walls, etc... These are certainly ugly as sin but are working much better than the expensive moth traps that turned out to be useless. My ribbons are all hanging in my basement where the moths are most prevalent.
