I always use a coat or two of Speedball clear to avoid running and smearing of the colors. These plates are made with porcelain clay and GR Pottery Forms molds.

Amaco Velvet Underglazes, with few exceptions, are true to color and fire well. I especially like their smooth consistency and the fact that they're mixable.
