I used to keep one in my purse so it would be available for quick measuring during clothes shopping, one or two in my sewing basket, and even one in the garage so my husband would leave mine alone (they get borrowed for measuring before and after workouts and never get returned). It seems that every time I needed to use one it would be missing,...so this time I bought a 12 pack! Hopefully they will last and I will have at least one around when I need it. These aren't as wide as my old measuring tapes were but they still work fine for what I need them for, they are also colorful too. My old ones were either plain white or yellow, I like the different colors. Numbers are large and the measurements are accurate and easy to read.
