Product Description DAP Concrete and Mortar Filler & Sealant is a ready-to-use, waterproof sealant formulated to repair cracks and holes in concrete, mortar and masonry surfaces. Completed concrete repair is resistant to gas, oil, grease and salt. This concrete crack filler is easy to apply, low in odor and cleans up easily with water. Cement formula is VOC compliant and can be used on exterior and interior applications. DAP caulk and sealants provide durable performance for a variety of projects. Review: I think it’s great but I cheat a little for the color and texture - First off I usually order Dap everything when it comes to fillers or chalks the prices are good and they have a good product. I have using this concrete and mortar filler for years repairing my homes - I have included a few before and after pictures- keep in mind I am reasonably handy but not a pro. However I cheat a little and I am not sure it’s by the book but it works- Why —- the color of the filler is not always match the mortar or concrete- so after I fill the cracks I literally sprinkle a little tiny bit of dry patching cement on top of the sealant - than blow any excesss away - It may slow the curing time of the sealant a bit but I have doing it to for years and it seems to work. Oh and if you try this around (dusting cement) brick cover the brick with tape it has a tendency to get into the pores.

**Q: can one put a second cost on first in the crack?**
A: Not sure what you're asking. Applying a second coat to a crack in the stuff that's already there? If that is the question, you can, but it won't last.  If you're in a rental it beats waiting for the landlord to act. If it's your property, best to do it right instead.

**Q: Is this a good option to seal small outside cracks around some windows?  and then ok to mortar over this?  please advise...thanks!**
A: I have had good results using this product to seal cracks in concrete walkway & driveway but never around windows nor have I tried to mortar over it.

A: No

**Q: Does this have any benefits over real morter to fill cracks or its just easier to use?**
A: Can be used to fill small cracks only.
