Review: Great for the price, well made, includes a polishing cloth and cloth bag. - I needed glasses for bike riding when I start out in bright sunlight and come home in darkness. The color distortion is weird, everything looks normal, except reflections off car windshields and puddles in the road look mellow yellow. I feel like I’m living in an alternate reality, but for me it’s kind of delightful. Not for everyone, apparently. These photochomatic lenses need ultraviolet light to darken. If you are wearing them in a car, the safety glass in the windshield has plastic imbedded in it which, besides keeping the glass from turning into deadly shards if it’s broken, but it also blocks ultraviolet light. Your glasses may not darken in the car, but the polarization will still work. This is more appreciated in a car because you may be traveling for a long time behind a vehicle that’s reflecting chrome back in your eyes, and without polarized glasses, some people get migraine headaches. Not so important on a bike. Yellow is better when the light gets darker because it blocks blue light (somewhat) and allows better night vision.
