This set arrived a couple of days ago, and it is beautiful. Like another Amazon reviewer, Denise, wrote, this, too, is my first Royal Albert teacup and saucer set. I don't own many pieces of fine china teacup and saucers. After the Royal Wedding of William and Kate, I thought to myself, why don't I have my own fine china teacup and saucer set? In the past, I bought teacup and saucer sets for other people, but not for myself. This teacup and saucer set arrives in a nice Royal Doulton box. There were no chips or defects with this china set. The gold trimmings on both the teacup and saucer add extra elegance and beauty. And the old country roses design is pretty. I like that there is a miniature pattern of the old country roses inside the teacup as well. It adds some extra visual dimension to the teacup. Like another Amazon reviewer, M. Knock, wrote, the only downside to this teacup and saucer set is that there is no "Made in England" stamp on the bottom of the teacup or saucer.
