Unfortunately, that's because this thing holds your junk up and forward like a wonder bra. I found the strange position uncomfortable initially, and the discomfort is compounded by a center seam, and the thinness of the fabric, which transfers sensations from the motion of your pants when walking. Eventually, though, the sensation (which isn't precisely discomfort, more like an unaccustomed constant awareness of your junk) passed. The rear stays put, the only pair I have tried where it does. They really are low rise, unlike others that claim to be and are not. The tags (2 of them) are extremely long and stiff, you'll probably have to cut them off as I did. The waistband is a thin elastic strip that leaves a mark, but at least it doesn't roll. I'm still getting used to wearing them, and we'll have to see how the material (similar to the material tights are made from) will hold up in the wash.
