I love these pens and they are always my go to, they feel great in my hand which is a necessity because I am a sketch artist and journal in cursive on a daily basis. The 0.7 is the perfect fine point without being too thin or scratchy, and not to thick. The black is perfect, but I have also used Pilot G2's in red, purple, etc. The clip is always reliable and I've never had one break or crack even after being in my pocket, purse, or hanging off of multiple sketch pads of varying thickness. Depending on what kind of paper I am using they might smudge slightly if it is a glossy or card paper, but never anything catastrophic or unreadable.
