It has a good weight and nice appearance upon first view, however there is a noticeable defect on one side of the bezel (see photo). Also more disturbing, there is a piece of black hair wrapped around the necklace and what appears to be 'dust' on the funnel (addtl photos). These are sold as new items and especially considering what they are - to hold remains of a loved one - I don't even want to think that this was a returned item from someone else, but that's what it looks like. I'm going to request a replacement, send this one back, and hopefully it will be undamaged and spotless.
