Basically a reworked typical Dremel for them to market as a pet specific tool for more than whatever anyone else is selling. Don't get me wrong, it works, it's got the cool guard thing for the sanding disk. It came with a basic Dremel kit for sanding things, I wouldn't say any of that part is specific to pets. The noise is typical, it vibrates but not too bad. It's got torque and power for sure. The problem with Dremels is the lack of speed variability which, this has. To conclude, ya it works, I was able to sand down my 40lb sassy old lady dogs inner nails.
