**Q: Do you really needed a tool to remove the pins? Many hinges have a bottom cap that needed to be remover first, where is that tool?**
A: I needed the tool for one hinge only. It didn't have a bottom cap and couldn't be removed otherwise. This tool did the job immediately.

A: The diameter of the pin is 3.6 millimeters.

**Q: I am restoring a 25 rusty cabinets that have the long skinny hinge. Do you have something that works for long hinges with skinny pins?**
A: Try the spring tools hinge pin remover. Search spring tool on amazon and you should find it.

**Q: Of what material is the body of the tool made?**
A: I believe  the body of tool is made of some type of hard plastic .....I have used mine at least 5 times .....and it seems to be fine......

Had 1 squeaky hinge on our bedroom door. I've tries drift and screwdrivers with a hammer to try and beat that dang thing out but it wouldn't budge.. Got this little tool in the mail and finally removed cleaned and lubed that pesky hinge pin. Did the other two hinges as well and no more squeaky door! the pin on this tool did slightly mushroom after that first pin but still worked well for three more doors around the house. The tool can also be used to fully remover the pin after it's been partially removed by the tool with the other end of this tool. Made pulling pins easier that I've ever experienced. Get one.
