The instructions that come with the device are not 100% descriptive. I'm mechanically inclined so I was able to figure out the system and get it installed. If you use your normal cigarette lighter it will stay on all the time so you will need to purchase additional kit online so it can be hard hardwired to your ignition to allow it to turn on only when the car is on. This kid is not included when purchasing this item. It has good enough resolution to capture any incidents that may occur while driving. You will also need to purchase a SD card so you can have longer loop times of video. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Was great....then.... *by H***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2021* Well, it worked great for about 9 months and then the ON button broke and will no longer turn the unit on or off.
