Although not completely flexible it is sturdy and well weighted. I have used this for miniature painting and have found the light to be bright enough to reveal flaws that I would not recognise with the naked eye. Please beware though that it has a usb connector and looks made for the Chinese market as directions primarily in this language with English as a secondary language.
